| Från GGKs hemsida: One of the ironies for me, is that by consciously not teasing about works-in-progress, I end up feeling guilty about a kind of reverse-tease. I really dislike 'vaporware' (term in the software industry for products promised and either very late or never delivered). I also have - as some of you will have read - issues with authors overdoing the bulletins to readers (and readers' responses to those bulletins). I ALSO prefer to focus on the books without being distracted by the speculations of people knowing general context. So, as a publicist's nightmare in this era of ours, I am in the habit of keeping quiet until done. Having said all that, the book IS nearly done, it will be out next spring, and there should be some announcements this summer. There. Am I (slightly) getting the hang of this PR thing? GGK |
